Firstly, I couldn't care less if they are dating, just friends or whatever.
My question is: why are people so against the idea? Not just those two, idols in general dating?
People literally go out of their way to call any dating news fake, would rather make up fantasies about them and their bandmates etc. It literally doesn't have an impact on our own lives at all!

It's also really messed up how some fans only want their faves to date someone they want them to date. It shouldn't be about their fantasies!

I'm an ARMYBLINK and I kinda wish it's not true. I can't imagine the sh*t storm. Just look at how that account who posted that picture got suspended within an hour. I mean it's their personal life and I'm not bothered about it, but it's the internet's reaction that scares me.

maybe it's fake, maybe it's real and they're friends (didn't he accidentally follow her once, ages ago? when she was still dating GD)
but let's imagine for a second it's real, how insane would it be for Jennie to not only be the it girl of 3rd gen K-Pop but also manage to date some of the most popular members of EXO, Bigbang AND BTS (in chronological order)?? Like, girl, teach a class.

But I just cannot understand what’s so wow about knowing who’s dating who in kpop, like will that mean they’ll be able to be more free together? No it just means people will scrutinize they every move even more. it is another thing if an idol publicly announces their relationship. To fans editing fake pics and videos to make it look like they are dating. It is also many armys ship bangtan members. But girl group fans ship bts with their fave. Both these people are same type of delusional.

honestly, the problem with dating was born on the asian part of the kpop scene. Asian fans always had problem with dating and that created fear among western fans that if any idols comes out as dating other idols, their careers are done, even when sk doesn't really care about it.

it's all the fault of the entire industry, because companies created the whole "idol belongs to a fan" impression. I understand Jennie girls and the way they immediately jumped to deny that they were dating. in such situations, female idols are in danger because someone may want to destroy them out of jealousy and obsession, or even feel the need to physically harm them.
