Lemon and cedarwood essential oils are agreat addition to any floor, window, and surface cleaning solutions. But, combined with white vinegar and olive oil, they make a homemade wood cleaner without any toxic chemicals often found in store-bought options.

How I started with Zero Waste Cleaners
I will admit I was a little intimidated to make my own natural cleaners. I have tried many expensive natural cleaning brands over the years, and some just didn’t do the job. Have you had that experience, too?
On the other hand, this dust spray surprised me at how well it worked. I even showed it to a friend, and she immediately went home and made a bottle for herself, too!

How To Use:

Creating An Effective Dust Cleaner
If you’re just beginning to make your own zero waste cleaners, you’ve picked a great place to start with this wood spray and polish! Here’s how to make it and what you’ll need.
Homemade Dust Spray Supplies and Ingredients:
1 cup distilled or filtered water
½ cup white distilled vinegar
½ cup olive oil
10 drops lemon essential oil
8 drops cedarwood essential oil
16 oz glass spray bottle
How to Make Homemade Dust Spray and Furniture Polish:
Step 1. Using a funnel, pour 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup white vinegar, and 1/2 cup olive oil into a spray bottle (this set of 15 glass bottles is a must for making zero waste cleaners).
Step 2. Place the cap and shake to mix the ingredients.
Step 3. Then uncap and add 10 drops of lemon essential oil and 8 drops of cedarwood essential oil. Put the cap on and shake it well to infuse it with oils.
Step 4. Remove the cap once more and add the remaining water, leaving room for the spray nozzle straw. Place the cap back on and shake to mix one last time.
